McWood Studios is a full-service design and fabrication shop located in Toronto.
We build sets and scenery for theatre, film and television, as well as custom millwork and displays for museums, artists and art galleries. We also develop brand activations, retail display, custom furniture and architectural pieces. In collaboration with artists, designers and architects we deliver unique projects locally and internationally.
In our 8,600 sq’ facility we have design, carpentry, metal and paint shops.
McWood is a one stop shop from start to finish.

OUR SERVICES
DESIGN & PROTOTYPING
Shop drawings and rendering in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Rhino. We can prototype and develop your project.
CNC
Working on a complex project or in need of parts for a production? Our CNC cuts up to 5’ x 10’ x 6” thick materials. Applications include foam, solid woods, plywood, plastics, sign making and aluminum.
CARPENTRY
Scenery, Custom lathe, cabinetry and millwork.
METAL
Steel and aluminum welding, milling, bending and fabrication. Custom stairs, fixtures & railings.
PAINTING
Scenic painting and sculpting.
LED, PLEXI AND SIGNAGE
Plexi cutting and fabrication, light boxes, vinyl application, LED design and installation.
