For the launch of Jo Malone London's English Pear fragrance at The Well in Toronto, McWood fabricated and installed a playful, larger-than-life pop-up built around a vintage VW van.

One of the biggest challenges was securely mounting an 8-foot-long grassy knoll and a pair of 40-pound perfume bottles to the roof of the vehicle without using any mechanical fasteners. To achieve this, we precisely replicated the profile of the VW roof, allowing the grassy mounds to be attached using a custom substrate and strategically placed magnets.

McWood fabricated the grassy landscape, oversized flowers, insects, pear, bottle caps, display desk, and custom 3D acrylic lettering, bringing the whimsical concept to life with durable, exhibition-quality craftsmanship.
